You Don't Need a Business Coach. You Need This Free AI Blueprint.

Anthropic just gave small business owners free AI training, and ZenBusiness wants to replace your startup consultant.
Main
Most business owners either get overwhelmed by AI or underwhelmed by it. They try a chatbot, get a vague answer, and go back to doing things the hard way. Two things dropped this week that might actually fix that.
ZenBusiness just upgraded its AI copilot with something called Velo Blueprint.
If you've used an AI assistant before, you know the usual experience: you ask a question, you get a wall of text, and you still don't know what to do Monday morning. Velo Blueprint is built differently. Instead of answering questions, it builds you a personalized, step-by-step action plan tied to specific milestones. Think of it less like a search engine and more like a contractor who shows up with a punch list instead of a whiteboard full of theory.
This is genuinely useful if you're starting something new, restructuring, or just trying to get out of the "I know I should be doing something, but what?" loop. The AI tells you exactly what to do next, in order. Read more here.
Anthropic just released a free AI fluency course built specifically for small business owners.
Anthropic makes Claude, one of the major AI assistants. They've now put out a full suite of free training materials aimed at owners and their employees who aren't sure when to trust AI output and when to go back and check it. That's the right question, by the way. Most owners are either too trusting (they publish whatever the AI writes, hallucinations and all) or too skeptical (they barely use the tools at all).
The package includes a new course on AI capabilities and limitations, short videos on hallucinations and bias (a hallucination is when AI confidently states something false, like a librarian who makes up book titles rather than admitting they don't know), and real owner case studies. There's also a behavioral indicators guide, which is basically a cheat sheet for spotting when an AI response should trigger a second look.
It's free. It's product-agnostic, meaning they're not just pushing you toward Claude. If you have a front-desk person or a marketing hire who uses AI daily, send them this link before they publish something embarrassing. Start the course here.
New Tools
Bluerails Discovery: Makes your business findable and transactable by AI shopping agents, not just search engines. For e-commerce and marketplace sellers.
Cotypist: Local AI autocomplete that learns your writing style and works across all Mac apps with zero data sent to the cloud. For Mac-based owners who write constantly.
Thumbmagic: AI thumbnail generator for YouTube and Reels built to drive more clicks. For owners doing video content without a design team.
OpenArt AI: Turns a brief into short films, brand ads, social posts, or product visuals in minutes. For owners who need visual content but have no design budget.
Hush: Open-source noise suppression for AI voice agents on calls. Strips background noise so your AI actually hears what customers say. Free.
